Shands HealthCare located near the medical campus of the University of Florida is currently looking to fill two intern positions starting in Summer 2010.

Management Engineering Consulting Services (MECS) is a core service of Shands HealthCare located near the medical campus of the University of Florida. MECS industrial engineers function as in-house consultants performing projects involving process improvement, staffing analysis, facility design, work flow analysis, etc.  MECS interns support the project work conducted by the full-time staff, which consists of one manager, two senior engineers, and two staff engineers.  

MECS is currently looking to fill two intern positions that will work 20 hours per week starting in summer 2010 and working a minimum of one year thereafter (three consecutive semesters).  This position is a paid position and work hours can be scheduled around class schedules.
